Disney Day 3

Day 3 at Disney was kinda funny. We walked out of our hotel room and locked all our stuff (including the key) inside the room. Lucky for us, Disney is magical and fixed us up in about 5 minutes flat. We had a quick breakfast and headed to Hollywood Studios. It was a little overcast and cool that day, but never rained on us! Our first order of business was the Little Mermaid show. It was in a theater and Reagan LOVED it!! Except for Ursula and when she came out I think Reagan crawled up my arm onto  my head!!! Hollywood Studios has more shows than rides and that was ok with us because Reagan was very into the shows. We saw the Muppet Show in 3-D which was funny and cute and also did the Backlot Tour. The fire and water sorta freaked Reagan out, but overall she enjoyed Hollywood Studios alot.

This squirrel was so funny,
 he watched us eat lunch
That afternoon we watched Beauty and the Beast Musical which had some of the best costumes we had seen. We all three loved this show, not to mention Reagan is very into pretending to be Belle right now.

After Beauty and the Beast we headed back to watch Disney Junior Live. These are all the cartoons that are really popular right now for her age so it was a huge hit for us.

We had a great day at Hollywood Studios for sure. Reagan was exhausted and laid down in the stroller and fell right asleep. TC and I decided since she was asleep we would ride the boat over to the backside of Epcot thru the bay. We ended up getting to see all the different hotels and had the best little boat ride while she slept. That night we had dinner at Chef Mickey's. It was one of our favorites because it had some of the post popular characters.

Goofy
Donald Duck

Minnie

Pure JOY!

The Minnie Mouse at Chef Mickeys was the cutest personality. She had the PERFECT minnie mouse giggle and walk. It was a great day and night!!

Disney Day 2

Day 2 at Disney got off to a slow start! We slept in and had a late morning. We headed to the Animal Kingdom about 10 am. I had never been and was really excited to see what it was all about. One of the first people we saw were Doug and Kevin from the movie "Up". We love this dog because he reminds us so much of Murphy and TC has already decided if we ever get another Wheaton Terrier his name will be Doug…
Doug and Kevin
Our first thing to do at Animal Kingdom was "Its a Bug's life" it was in 3-D and Reagan was scared to death. She jumped out of her skin when the stuff would fly at you and needless to say she was very relieved when it was over!! She specifically asked NEVER to do that again.

Next we went to see "Finding Nemo" the musical. Oh my goodness, was it amazing! The props and the dancers and the whole thing just blew me away. It was absolutely mesmerizing and Reagan sat perfectly still paying attention the whole time.

After that we headed over to the Kilimanjaro Safari. Once again I was blown away. It was really like riding thru Africa and getting to see the animals. Reagan really enjoyed it. My favorite part was the hippo who was swimming underwater. We were above it and it was the coolest thing I have ever seen.

After we left there we were waiting on Mickey's Jungle Parade to start. Reagan had not asked for one thing the entire trip. Well, she was obsessed with everybody carrying the fans that misted. She asked for one about every five minutes. I tried to talk her into something sweet like an animal kingdom shirt or stuffed animal, but she was dead set on the fan. She played with it the rest of the trip at Disney. In fact, she plays with it almost every day since we have been home. Who knew??
The beloved fan.

We rode all the rides and enjoyed Animal Kingdom so much. We had an awesome lunch at the Yak and Yeti (TC's favorite) and we ended our day eating dinner at the Tusker House. I don't know if Disney has that great of food or if you are just so hungry it seems delicious. Either way we ate some great food while we were there.

Disney Day 1

Whew!! I am so behind on my blogging. I am going back to where I left off and that was our trip to DISNEY WORLD!! We went April 18-22 and it was the most magical time ever. I am still depressed it's over. I am going to try not to do picture overload but I have about a million!

We began with our car ride to Birmingham Thursday morning. We were probably still in the driveway when she asked if we were there yet? I just looked at TC and we both remembered why we were flying as opposed to driving. As we pulled into the airport she screamed from the backseat,"YAY, we are at Disney World!!" Our flight got delayed by about 45 minutes, but that was fine with us. We had a quick bite for breakfast and played in the children's area in the airport. She was THRILLED to be at the airport. I knew if that was any indication of our trip, we were going to have a great time!

First Plane Ride!
We arrived in Orlando after a very quick 1 hour plane ride and immediately got on the Disney Magical Express to our hotel. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort and they were wonderful. And let me brag on Disney for a minute… When they say it's all magical, it really is!! We checked our bags in b'ham and they appeared in our room that night. We road a big bus straight to our hotel and were greeted by red carpet, bubbles and very happy workers! It probably took about 5 minutes to check in and we were headed to the room!

Our view from our hotel room
We immediately changed clothes and headed straight to the Magic Kingdom. On the way there Reagan was worried about "Malificent" the witch from Sleeping Beauty. TC and I assured her we would NOT see her, but would get to see all our favorite characters. Well low and behold, we walk in the Magic Kingdom and straight up to Cinderella's Castle. We were right on time for a show with all the characters. We are so excited and watching and guess who POPS out from a cloud of green smoke!? The one and only Malificent, who we assured her wasn't going to be there!!!! She came unglued for about 2 seconds…
Seconds before the dreaded Malificent popped out!

After that debacle, we headed to start riding rides. Our very first one was "It's a small world". Reagan kept asking, "which world is this", she couldn't figure out the changing costumes through out the ride.
On the boat! Our first ride.

One of our favorite things we did was the new Ariel ride from Little Mermaid. We loaded up in clams and rode thru the story of the Little Mermaid. It was so fun and I couldn't pay attention to the ride for watching Reagan's reaction to it.

When we exited the ride we walked over to "Ariel's Grotto" where we got to actually meet Ariel. She was the prettiest, sweetest thing ever and Reagan was OBSESSED! She just couldn't get over the fact Ariel was sitting in her room taking pictures.

One of my favorite characters was Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. He was hilarious and acted just like the actual character. (And I LOVED his padded butt and legs…)

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

There were hardly any crowds our first day and the longest line we stood in was about 15-20 minutes and that was for the new Winnie the Pooh ride. TC had never been to Disney and I kept telling him how lucky we were with the lines. We rode a ton of rides and then headed to dinner at the Crystal Palace. All the Winnie the Pooh characters came thru while we were eating to take pictures with Reagan. She was so into it!! Before we went, I was scared she would be nervous and scared of the characters, but she absolutely loved it, and wanted her picture made with EVERYBODY. Even people she didn't know!!

After dinner we lined up to watch the Disney Electrical Parade. I had never seen this and was blown away. The floats are so beautiful covered in lights and we got to see all our favorite characters go by.
Sitting on daddy's shoulders.

She was a very real fairy godmother.

Clapping at the end!!
The first day was absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for the travel side of it to go any better. We all were exhausted and it was only day 1!!
