Weekend Update
Reflecting on this weekend I have realized all we did was EAT! Friday night we spent the evening with Robert and Anna Claire and sweet baby Grove. The boys grilled us steaks and we had so much fun catching up after a few weeks. Grove and I had a hallmark moment while changing a huge diaper. He broke me in well.
Saturday morning TC went to the office to catch up on some paperwork and Reagan and I stayed around the house. We went to town to meet TC for lunch at Newks, then ran some errands. We had a wonderful nap then ended the night at Toby Lynn and Chads for a crawfish boil. It was soooo good! I have missed crawfish all winter! Reagan and Allie Hunter had fun as usual playing outside and running wild.
Sunday morning I got an early morning wake up call from Mom. She and her best friend Phylecia are all the way in Europe touring around. CeeCee was calling us from Palermo, Sicily. I was really surprised how well the cell phone reception was, she sounded so close. And of course she was having a blast.
We had one of the best services at church on Sunday morning. I am continually blown away by how God is moving at Highlands. TC and I are so incredibly lucky to serve and grow with some of the best people in Tuscaloosa. After church we had lunch at Mugshots. TC and Reagan came home while I went to a meeting at church for the afternoon.
We are all so excited at our house… It's 4 days until DISNEY WORLD! Reagan has woken up every morning for the past week and asked if we are going today. I can't believe the actual week is finally here. I have SO MUCH packing to do!
I know I say this every week, but we are blessed beyond measure at our house. Things are not always happy and perfect, but we count every single thing we have to be thankful for on a daily basis. I did a bible study with some of my closest friends and my favorite lesson was on choosing joy. Ever since that lesson I try my hardest to choose joy every single day no matter my situation. So tomorrow and the day after that I will be choosing joy and I hope you will too!
