Last Thursday we graduated from the Newborn Follow Clinic at UAB!! It's been a wonderful three years with these doctors and nurses. As a "micro-preemie" under 3 pounds at birth, Reagan has been part of a study thru UAB. We started the program at 1lb 13oz and ended at 3 years, 3 months old and 25lbs 12 oz. She was exactly 3ft tall! They have tracked her physical and mental development. We go for follow up appointments and see nutritionists, pediatricians, optometrists, psychologists and many others I can't think of!! Today we had our last cognitive tests with the doctors. We are above average verbally and good ole average on all other cognitive parts! I will truly miss these visits and the extra knowledge we gained while here. I hope tracking Reagan's development will help others in the future! We were blessed by the team at UAB and I accredit them to Reagan's phenomenal growth and development to this day!

Weekend Update
Warning: You may be floored by boredom throughout this post.
Friday night TC picked up Reagan at his parents and headed home. I arrived home after work and Murphy had dirty paws. For some reason it completely annoyed me so instead of washing his feet like we usually do, I got out the clippers and shaved his whole body. He is so use to me doing this by now, he is awesome and just sits there. He only gets nervous when I get near his sensitive areas, which is understandable. Now don't get me wrong he will need some professional grooming when it gets summertime, but this little clip will get us through.
Moving on… TC and Reagan got home and we had plans to go out to dinner. It immediately started thundering, lightening and pouring. Therefore, an executive decision was made to stay home and eat left overs. (I told you this was exciting)
Saturday morning TC got up and headed to ATL to supercross races. They spend the whole day up at the superdome walking thru the pits and watching all the qualifying races. Reagan and I got up and ready and headed to town to meet CeeCee for some shopping. We went to midtown and the mall. Reagan of course is completely into shopping right now and its hilarious. She will tell me if she likes what I picked out or not and even picks me clothes out. She has some pretty good taste for 3.
After our morning of shopping we headed to the new downtown restaurant Billy's. TC and I have eaten at the one in Bham a few times and the Tuscaloosa one was just as delicious. After lunch we headed home for a late nap.
Saturday night we played baby dolls and I scrap booked for awhile. Then I was forced to watch our Barbie movie for the millionth time. I begged for anything else but sister wasn't budging. Poor TC didn't get home from ATL until about 2AM. He was exhausted.
Sunday morning we headed to church for an awesome sermon on conflicts in relationships. The best quote is everybody fights, but Godly people fight right. It will definitely change the way TC and I go about a disagreement in our home.
After church we had a quick lunch with Robert and Anna Claire at Swens. It was such a beautiful day that we went to visit little Anna Claire and baby Lillian and play outside. The girls had a blast. We left there for a quick stop at Yogurt Mountain then home to enjoy the rest of our day. TC cooked us dinner and we are going to bed super early. Praying for a blessed week at our house!!

Weekend Update
My heart is so full after this weekend. TC and I spent Friday night and Saturday at the Ignite Marriage Conference. It was incredible and I am so thankful that we choose to be a part of it.
One part of the conference the speaker said look around at your friends and that's who your marriage will be like. Good and bad marriages run in groups. Well I teared up because I was sitting in the middle of some of my best friends. Anna Claire, Robert and Pat and Eileen were with us. These are some of TC and my very best friends and there they were improving on their marriages. It made my heart so happy and full and PROUD that these are my people! They love God like we do and want the best for their family.
Reagan spent the night Friday with mom and dad. She had a blast as usual. Saturday they went to the Alabama basketball game and she LOVED it! She told me Saturday night that CeeCee wore her out taking so many pictures of her.
We spent Saturday night watching Dora and scrap booking cause we live exciting lives like that.
Sunday was church then good ole Taco Casa. Home for a nap and more scrap booking because I am on a kick. Productive and happy weekend for sure.

After the preschool party, we headed out to the airport to see mom at work. Cee Cee is as bad as me about going overboard on a holiday. She had two big bags of goodies ready for Reagan. She was thrilled to get a new Cinderella dress up outfit to wear on our trip to Disney World! She is currently VERY obsessed with all princesses but Cinderella especially.

This is what was in the bags!! |
After our airport party, as she called it. We headed home for a nap. She passed out when her sugar high wore off and slept for 2.5 hours. Uncle Jason came over Tuesday night with a vday prize. It is the biggest Hello Kitty ever. He got some major brownie points.

Weekend Update
Annnnnd another one down... Friday after work I had a hair apt and some "me" time. It's my happy place, not to mention I love my hair stylist. I have know her since we were babies and I so look forward to going every few weeks. (And yeah, I go that often cause its really hard to keep this dark brown hair so blonde these days.)
After that I decided to go ahead and cook my nanas special macaroni and cheese recipe. It has to sit overnight and of course I procrastinated. Therefore, I didn't start on it till after 9pm and my poor mama had to answer questions on how to do things till about 10. The good news is that now I know for next time.
Saturday we headed to Eileen's to decorate for Robert and Anna Claire's baby shower that night. We had 6 hostesses and Eileen's whole family over to help clean and get ready. The day flew by and we had to be back at their house by 6...
We have the absolute best group of friends and I thank God when I look around at each and every one of them. Baby Grove is already so loved by all of us. (His baby shower is getting its own post).
Sunday morning we had to go to Coker to pick up Reagan before church. She spent the night with mom an dad Saturday night. They had a great time and she always loves staying at their house.
After church we went to Mr. Gs with Anna Claire's whole family, Toby, Chad and Allie Hunter. As soon as we got home , Reagan and I laid down for a nap. We slept for a solid 3 hours of good hard sleep while it rained. It was blissful!
Sunday night, TC cooked us dinner while Reagan and I watched the Grammys. Reagan practiced some pretty hilarious dance moves the entire show.

Weekend Update
We have had an all too eventful week at our house and we were very thankful for the weekend to arrive! Reagan had her first big boo boo and is extremely dramatic. She pulled the bar stool over by accident and it landed smack on her big toe. After hours of tears and ALOT of blood we are happy to report the toe is still attached. Although we are fairly sure we are going to loose a toenail...
She literally screams bloody murder when you glance it's general direction and don't even think about trying to touch it. I'm telling y'all, she may be an actress one day.
Moving on, Friday night we took a long hot bath and had pajamas on by 8:00. I could not hold my eyes open any longer.
Saturday we had a pirate birthday party for our sweet friend Parker. He loved his birthday and of course so did Reagan. They had a huge bouncy pirate ship with a slide and bounce house inside it. Reagan stayed in it the entire party, only to come out for cake (typical). After the party, we went to Clark's for a quick dinner. We ended the night watching Tangled, AGAIN.
Sunday morning we headed to church. I am loving our new series we started on the Songs of Soloman and relationships. Everybody has room to improve in that area!
After church we ran thru good ole Taco Casa then headed home. We had to be back at church at 3 for a kick off party for our small groups this semester. We are so thankful for the people the Lord has surrounded us with.
We ended the night cooking out and watching the Super Bowl halftime show. Notice we only watched the best part. Well, I think TC watched some, but Reagan and I sure didn't!!
Happy weekend friends, hope you are as blessed as we are!
