Welp, another one over and done. I think we ate out every meal this weekend starting on Thursday night for date night at El Kmart. Our favorite waiter Ramon immediately asked where Reagan was and how we got out without her. He makes me laugh…
Friday after a very LONG day at work, we ended up at Clarks with Robert, Anna Claire, Patrick and Eileen. We ended up having to wait for a table for awhile, but it wasn't bad and totally worth the wait.
Saturday morning we got up and had a lazy Saturday morning. TC had to go look at a job for work and Reagan said I didn't even know it was a weekday? That surprised me because I just assumed she didn't realize the difference between the weekend and weekdays. Since I am home with her on Tuesday and Thursday we are usually still in bed when TC leaves for work and she just assumes that's where he is if he is not home. Which is 99% correct most of the time.
Anyways, I digress… We left home around lunchtime Saturday and went to Jason's Deli for lunch. After that we headed to the Circus at the BJCC. I procrastinated in ordering tickets this year and we sat in upper level but it turned out fine. We actually had pretty decent seats. She was so excited for the circus and loved every single second of it. Three is definitely a good age for the circus.
It was a little slow the first half, but the second half after intermission was amazing. The poodles and elephants never cease to amaze me with their tricks. How in the world they get 8 huge elepahants to sit on stools and lay down is beyond me. My favorite was when the elephant balanced on his tusk with his back two feet in the air. I KNOW, AMAZING right?
When we asked Reagan what her favorite part was she said the cheerleaders? Yes, we took the kid to the circus and she liked the dancing cheerleaders in one part of the show. Although I will give it to her, they had cool outfits and sparkly tights.
After the circus we rode over to our friend Wes' condo to visit and go to dinner. We ended up at Billys in Mountain Brook. It was great and Reagan was sound asleep about two minutes into the drive home.
Sunday morning we headed to church for an awesome message by Pastor Chris all about relationships. That is something TC and I are really trying to invest in. Godly and fulfilling relationships with others. After church we headed to the grocery store since we had some bare cabinets.
A Sunday nap followed by a good home cooked dinner has rounded out our weekend. I am feeling blessed and ready to take on my week.

I know I'm gonna miss this...
I know one day I'm going to miss my 3 year old taking every step I take ALL DAY LONG. So I'm trying to cherish this, but for the love....
Sometimes you just need a minute to yourself. Do you know what these pictures are??? My legs as I sit on the toilet. And yes, that's her lounging at my feet waiting on me to finish my business.
Although she is sometimes helpful. She gets my toilet paper for me and also flushes. (I'm not kidding.) Whose jealous yet?

Weekend Update
Well Friday night TC made his famous homemade buffalo chicken pizza. Not to brag on the hubs and give him the big head but its amazing. And one of his many secret recipes... The good lord knew what he was doing when he gave me a husband who cooks such good food.
Bill and Grey joined us for dinner since Leigh was working this weekend. Grey is such a GOOD baby and Reagan absolutely loves him. I cannot belive he is almost 5 months old already and growing so fast. He watches Reagan's every move and just sits and smiles at her. She got out some coloring books and crayons and walked over to him. Her exact quote was,"Grey, this is a crayon, but we never never never color on the walls!!" Ummm that would be a valuable lesson she has learned and could have been speaking from experience if you know what I mean!
Saturday morning TC headed to work for awhile. Reagan and I lazed around the house and she made me play "barbs". (That's her word for Barbies.) We laid down and I think I had the best nap of my life. Saturday night we went to dinner at El Kmart. TC's pick and he completely ignored my request for Hokkaido and Reagan's for Cracker Barrel…
After dinner we went to Lindsey and Josh's for awhile. Reagan and little Anna Claire have been missing each other and needed some play time. They had so much fun and were very into playing princess and dress up.
Sunday morning we headed to church, followed by lunch with Robert and big Anna Claire. We picked Mr. G's because it's a favorite of all of ours. When we all got home and settled TC and I sat down with Reagan to watch the movie Tangled. It's the Disney version of Rapunzel and it is FABULOUS. It is definitely one of my new favorites.
Sunday night we headed to Jalepenos for my cousin Carmen's 23rd birthday dinner. After dinner, Reagan went home with CeeCee and Poppa to spend the night since Poppa was on babysitting duty for MLK day. (The preschool was closed.)
So that's it... Another famously exciting weekend at our house and of course once again all I have are iPhone pics!

Snow Day!!
SNOW DAY!! It finally snowed for a little bit at our house this morning. Reagan kept cracking me up. She was amazed it was snowing in the front of the house AND the back! She looked out the door in our room and said, "Hmmm, it's snowing out here too? Whatcha think about that?" We bundled up and went outside for about 15 minutes. She immediately said, "Ugh this stuff is wet!!" The dogs however LOVED the snow and of course went crazy as usual.
About two hours later it started snowing even harder and sticking pretty well. We bundled BACK up and went outside again. TC came home from work to play with us. We had a snowball fight and she thought it was hilarious. She was running around screaming and said, "what's going on what are we running from?" She actually liked getting hit by the snowballs. Here are the pictures from our wonderful day! So thankful for a warm home and time well spent with my sweet family.

Telephone
Well, alot of times its like playing telephone and its the luck of the draw what you will get. It's really entertainment at this point and if I am in desperate need of say, toilet paper, I will just call TC from the bathroom on my cellphone.
SO, the other day we are at mom and dad's house. I was in mom's bathroom looking for Q-tips. I told Reagan to go ask CeeCee where she kept her Q-tips. A few minutes passed by and she comes back and says, "ummm, they didn't understand", but she had some fritos in her hand. I walked to the kitchen and mom said,"I didn't know she loved corn chips!!" AHHHH found the problem there… I sent her for Q-tips.
Although, I will admit I love this age because she is so willing to help you do anything. She brings us the remote and will go get anything you send her for. Usually. Many times she gets side tracked and you find her in her room playing.
Lastly on this random post. She has learned how to take self portraits with my cellphone. I have found so many hilarious ones in the past couple of weeks. Here are just a few I have been surprised with lately.

Birthday Weekend Update
What a perfect birthday weekend I have had! I started celebrating on Thursday with a birthday lunch at Cracker Barrel with my grandmother and Aunt Janice. Reagan walked in the door and said,"I don't even see a restaurant in this place?" Then, Thursday night TC took me on a date to Clark's for dinner and it was great.
I worked a half day on Friday and my sweet coworkers surprised me with all my favorite junk foods. I got Krispy Kreme's, sour worms, chocolate and cakes. For lunch, mom took me to Jim and Nicks to celebrate. I left there and headed to Spa Bella Vie for a one hour Swedish massage. It was AH-MAZING and the guy named David was great FYI.
Friday night all our best friends went to dinner with me to celebrate. Reagan got to spend the night with mom and dad. We originally planned to eat at Chucks and when we arrived, found out that Nick Saban and his recruits were also there. Since we had a large group and it was really crowded the wait was 2 1/2 hours!! We opted to walk across the street and wait for 20 minutes at Old Glory Gyro's. None of us had ever eaten there, but it turned out really good. We all loved our food. Robert, Anna Claire, Bill, Leigh, Grey, Josh, Lindsey, Patrick and Eileen all came. It was a perfect night and I am so thankful for all these people in my life who love and support me.
Saturday morning TC woke me up at 10:15! I haven't slept that late in forever! Mom and I went to Bham to shop all day and had a great time. I think we went in about a million stores and loved having some girl time together. TC had a slight heart attack when I walked in the door with about 10 bags of stuff!!
Saturday night we had dinner with our neighbors. They cooked out for us and we all hung out while the kids played.
Sunday morning we headed to church as usual after a quick stop at Krispy Kreme. Pastor Chris brought an awesome message. TC and I had two different friends come for the first time! It was a great morning. We had to stay for the 11:30 service for a quick meeting and instead of Reagan having to go to kids service twice, Meemee and Pa came to pick her up for lunch. After we left church, TC and I were all alone so we went back to Old Glory for lunch because TC loved his from Friday night so much. Reagan was having too much fun at her g'parents, so when we called she didn't want to come home yet. That gave us the afternoon to watch a movie!! I can't remember the last time we watched a movie together without one of us falling asleep.
We ended up watching Trouble with the Curve with Clint Eastwood. It was a really great movie, except for the extreme cursing throughout. I could have done without that part. Here are a few random pictures from my birthday weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better one and Happy 27 to me! I KNOW it's going to be a great year!

Weekend Update
Friday night we ended up at our favorite Mexican restaurant, El Kmart. It was an awesome dinner and an early night for us.
Saturday morning TC got up early and went to Bham. It ended up being such a nasty, rainy day Reagan and I stayed home the entire day. This is very unlike me, because I usually get cabin fever BAD. Saturday afternoon Reagan laid down on the couch. She looked so comfortable I laid down with her and we slept for over 2 hours!! Actually she slept 3! Sunday was TC's 28 bday and his only wish was for me to stay up late with him watching the first motor cross race of the season on Saturday night. It was live in California so the main event didnt come on until about 12 am. We were all up so he got to open his present a day early. He was excited he got his GoPro for when he races motorcycles, he can video himself now. And I am excited to get to see what it looks like from his perspective.
Sunday we got up and headed to church followed by a birthday lunch for TC. We went to Another Broken Egg for brunch with Robert and Anna Claire. It was absolutely delicious and everybody cleaned their plate. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Sunday afternoon was naps and relaxation. My mom had called earlier in the day asking if Reagan could come spend the night with them. Of course Reagan was thrilled to go to CeeCee and Poppas and see her cats. She lives for those cats.
TC and I headed to church on Sunday night and ended the night with a birthday frosty from Wendy's!

NYE and Resolutions
NYE was spent with those I love the most, my family and best friends. We spent the night with Bill, Leigh, Grey, Anna Claire, Robert, Pat and Eileen and a couple of other new friends. We played apples to apples and catchphrase until midnight. I LOVED it. Reagan was awesome and played the night away. Anytime she has her uncle Robert and Bill Bill she is one happy girl. We ended up home and cuddled in bed all together about 12:30. She had her second wind and it took us awhile to get her to sleep then moved into her room! I wouldn't change a thing about our night. Oh how times have changed!
On another note, I looked back at my resolutions blog from 2012 and I have to say I actually did most of them. Wow, what a first!
I succeeded at blogging more for sure. I also used better grammar on it, although I still hate commas and periods. I worked on reading my bible and doing my devotions more. I def think I could have done better, but I did improve. And I worked on giving all worries to God. I am still a worrier and always will be, but I let a lot of things outside of my control go this year....
Now onto 2013's list:
1) Do the one year Bible plan. I am about a week away from being 27 years old and am embarrassed to admit I haven't read my entire Bible.
2) Put down my phone. I am addicted to the social media JUNK! I love Facebook, twitter and Instagram. I am going to put down my phone and be more in the moment with TC and Reagan. I know for a fact TC will be happy about this one.
3) Drink more water.... Also an embarrassing fact about me. I love soft drinks.
So there it is folks, not huge lofty goals, but doable ones. 2012 was good to me and I have high hopes for this year. Here's to a blessed 2013 to all!
